COPENHAGEN BLUES SESSION VOL.3 - BLUES FROM DENMARK

Frontman Martin Olsen is co-producing the third edition of the "Copenhagen Blues Sessions" series - this time around entitled "Blues From Denmark". The new album which is due at the end of September 2006 features a great spectrum of danish blues performers. The Blues Overdrive was featured on the second edition of the series"Copenhagen Blues Sessions vol.2 - The Blues Bands" with the track "Feelin' Kind of Blue" - check it out - it's still available!
The Copenhagen Blues Festival 2006, from sept 21- 25, features a variety of international and nation bluesartists including texas blueslegends The Fabulous Thunderbirds and the internationally acclaimed swamp/delta player Corey Harris, the scheduled events for the festival can be seen HERE!

COPENHAGEN BLUES SESSIONS VOL. 2 - THE BLUES BANDS

The Blues Overdrive appears on the 2004 compilation album "Copenhagen Blues Sessions vol.2 The Blues Bands". The track "Feelin' Kind Of Blue", recorded in August 2004., is featured exclusively on this album - which is to present the danish musicscene at the international MIDEM FESTIVAL in Cannes, FRANCE in January 2005. The line-up on the album is very impressive and features some of the finest blues artiist from Denmark. The Blue Junction, Troels Jensen & The Healers, Kenn Lending Blues Band, SP/Just/Frost, Peter Thorup are some of the participating artists. You can buy the album from one of these sites:
